Building Relationships with God and Others
Faith Baptist Church of Cherokee Road is an assembly of believers endeavoring to communicate the preeminence of Jesus Christ by edifying and equipping the believers through the correct preaching and teaching of God’s Word, by compassionately proclaiming the gospel out of concern for the lost, by consistently loving the saints, and by continually praising the greatness and goodness of our God, that in all things Christ might be glorified.
Worship Service
Our services are traditional with an emphasis on biblical preaching and congregational singing. Because we believe that God’s Word is the foundation of godliness, our preaching is focused on careful study of the Scriptures. We strongly believe that the church should be a helpful source of teaching that enables the believer to carry Biblical principles into daily living; thus you will find that teaching at Faith is concerned with day-to-day, practical application.
We sing a blend of new and classic hymns in a simple style. We are committed to using songs that have theologically rich lyrics and music that inspires godly affections. A variety of instruments are used while keeping the voice our primary instrument of praise. We encourage our congregation to be participants in the worship and not simply observers.

Faith Baptist Church is a family united by our love for Jesus Christ! We are eager to welcome you to our gathering! Our church is made up of people of all ages and walks of life. You will meet people here who are like you and others who are very different than you. We hope you will find that we are brought together by our commitment to help each other know, love, and serve God!
How should I dress?
Sometimes people wonder how we dress at Faith. You will find that our church is a blend of casual and professional. We invite you to come and just be you. There is no expectation for how you should dress.
Nursery
During all our meetings, there is a clean, well-staffed nursery for children from infancy to three years old. Elementary aged children stay with their parents during the music portion of the service and are dismissed to an age-appropriate Bible lesson during the sermon.

Location
Faith Baptist Church is located at the end of Cherokee Road where we lease a building from Ironwood Christian Camp. You will see a sign for both Ironwood and our church just before you turn onto the dirt road. You will find us in the second building on the right as you enter Ironwood.
